This is supposed to be the final installment in the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise and I have to admit to being a bit stoked at the idea of not only all of the mythology stuff (that I have always felt made little sense) being explained but that the studio is tking some of that loot the earlier films raked in and putting it into this films. FX budget. No more doors opening and shutting or pillows being re-arranged on the couch. We are actually getting evil astral projections, ghosts and other-dimensional portals in addition to the other, less than special, scares this franchise is known for.
Hopefully they do something in the area of practical make-up effects for the coven of grandmas too because their inclusion in these films has always made my eyes darn near roll outside of my head and making them look like demons might help up their scare factor.
