Yep, Lex “I Hate Superman” Luthor couldn’t keep his hands (or lips) off of Amanda. Sure he was all hopped up on a kryptonite and anabolic steroid cocktail but I am going to assume that Lex just needed the chemical confidence booster to make his move. What red-blooded, healthy American male wouldn’t be intimidated by a full-figured and brilliant lady like Amanda Waller? At the time Waller was working as President Luthor’s Secretary of Meta-Human Affairs and the two consummate schemers were a pretty daunting twosome but Amanda wasn’t looking to mix business with pleasure like old Lex was. Also her time in Luthor’s administration also resulted in Amanda being hauled off to jail for a spell too so all in all this was not even close to the fairy tale love affair that any shippers may have been hoping for.
