While I am over the moon with excitement for the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie (especially after the clip shown at this year’s San Diego Comicon), I did notice while looking at the team pic that WB released that the League is basically a sausage party with Wonder Woman as the lone female presence on the team. And that is something that really needs to be rectified as quickly as possible which shouldn’t be hard since DC Comics has some really cool women heroes to choose from (as the image above, wonderfully drawn by Peter Nguyen certainly proves).

With the release of the teaser for the 2016 Suicide Squad film there has to be a lot of people who thought the 3 minute video was totally cool beans (like me) but had no clue who the hell all of those bizarre looking characters were. So as a full on comic book nerd and longtime Suicide Squad fanboy I figured I would provide a public service to the movie-going masses and give folks the lowdown on who’s who in the Suicide Squad.
The movie centers around the murder of prominent DC Universe scientists like Ray Palmer, Victor Fries, Silas Stone and others that the Justice League is being framed for. They attempt to investigate these murders while dealing with mounting pressures from outside sources. – Source

I am a diehard Aquaman fan (a fact I have made known previously) and I loved the MAN OF STEEL movie (take your whining about Superman killing Zod and shove ’em where the sun don’t shine) so I have been amped out of this world ever since it was announced that Aquman was going to have a small role in the upcoming BATMAN V SUPERMAN movie as a prelude to the Justice League film. I was even more jazzed when Jason Momoa was cast in the role because Jason Momoa only plays badasss characters and I really wanted to see a badass Aquaman on the big screen. And I just went over the moon when Zack Snyder went out of his way to show he felt pretty much the same way about Aquaman. So now that Snyder has given us a glimpse of Momoa in full Aquaman regalia I am angry that I have to wait an entire year to see this awesomeness on a big screen.
