Playing the “Sweet Transvestite from Transsexual Transylvania” is still the role that Curry is best known for and it was also his entree into the public consciousness. Only Curry could pull off this role from a goofily campy mess of a movie like Rocky Horror. And he did it in garters and heels to boot. Plus he got to smack around Susan Sarandon and as recent years have shown us, Susan is a huge asshole.
