Trailer Of The Day: Django Unchained

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago. Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. Trailer of The Day: Doctor Who Series 7

Doctor Who returns this fall (with new episodes airing on BBC America on the same day they air in the UK on BBC proper) and I can’t wait.
And the possibility of a dead Amy Pond just makes me want this series to hurry up and start even more.

Trailer of the Day: The Walking Dead Season 3

Those cleaning out the prison scenes look intense. Michonne looks badass. My misgivings about the casting of the Governor have been eased somewhat. Herschel looks good all scruffy. Carl seems to have skipped right over his tween years and looks old enough to drive. Lori needs to die. T-Dogg had nothing to say in the entire 4 minute trailer. Trailer of the Day: Prototype

This is an amazing looking film just from the teaser and it is especially impressive considering that the production company (The Bandito Brothers; the company behind the surprise hit ACTS OF VALOR) only spent around $40 million on it. The concept is cool too: a rogue android is being hunted by the government that built it. The movie should be released some time in 2013
