The Actors With The Worst Post-Oscar Win Careers

Marisa Tomei
Marisa Tomei is laughing heartily because she was able to fix her career before she ended up on this type of a list.

Winning an Oscar is supposed to be the pinnacle of an actor’s career. Once you have been recognized by The Academy your career is supposed to take off and if you play your cards right you will end up having your pick of roles in movies and may even find yourself in a position to win another award. But for some actors winning the Oscar is the beginning of the end. These unfortunate souls either fall off the face of the Earth or become jokes who end up starring in one bad movie after the next. It is with the less fortunate Oscar winners in mind that I threw together this list of people who probably all hate Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks with a blinding jealous rage.

Is The World Ready For A Black James Bond?

Puff Daddy/Diddy
No, no, hell to the no! Bond is not for you, Mr. P Diddy Puff Daddy Puff Combs!

There have been rumors circulating for a while now that actor Idris Elba could be up for the role of James Bond when Daniel Craig leaves the franchise. Now I know that there will be those who consider a black Bond to be the greatest affront to life, liberty and the Queen since the rise of the Spice Girls. This is especially borne out by the alarming racist reactions to the casting of black actors in the HUNGER GAMES movie. I personally say balderdash to the naysayers because there are 3 black Brit actors that I think have all the necessary joie de vivre to pull off the role of Bond successfully.

The 6 Best Movie Performances By Wrestlers Turned Actors

Tor Johnson in PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE
Old school wrestler Tor Johnson in PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE showed true range. He went from playing a stiff, lifeless cop to playing a stiff, lifeless cop in bad zombie make-up.

The common opinion on professional wrestling is that it is just a soap opera for the male population. And the performers in this “sport” all are called upon to act out some truly ludicrous story lines in front of live crowds week in and week out. So it is kinda shocking that so many wrestlers end up being so bad when they are put in an actual film role. John Cena and HHH may be able to captivate a crowd with their performance in the squared circle but neither guy can act their way out of a soggy paper bag. But there are a few rasslers who have proven to have “The Stuff” when it comes to acting outside of the ring and I have decide to list my top 6 sports entertainers who made the transition to the big screen successfully.
