I was perusing YouTube and came across this video of a bunch of the lessons that He-Man and company liked to impart to the kiddies at the end of every episode of THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE and after watching it I realized that kids don’t need school, they could get all the info they need in life from He-Man ad his pals. Stay off drugs, slavery is bad, don’t ram your head into things…those are the life lessons that everyone needs to take to heart.

This is just about the goofiest thing I have seen all week…a shot for shot remake of the IRON MAN 3 trailer that looks like it cost about $5 and some change.

There are stern fathers and then there are cold, authoritarian, self-esteem crushing fathers like one Lord Tywin Lannister from GAME OF THRONES. The patriarch of the Lannister clan is the anti-Cliff Huxtable. He rarely has a kind word for any of his kids and on the off chance that he does compliment them it is usually immediately followed by him cutting them down especially poor Tyrion who he routinely refers to as a “stump”. So in honor of the Westeros Father of the Year I put together a video of all of Tywin’s interactions with his 3 children so you too can marvel at the world class acting of Charles Dance in the role that I don’t think anyone could possibly play better..

Thank God It’s Wednesday!!! It is on Hump Day that all the geeks and nerds across the lands venture to their local comic book stores or whip out their tablets and get to downloading all the new books for the week. Wednesday is the high holy day of the work week for those of us that like funny books and since I am very fond of my own opinion on things it is also the day that I will do quickie reviews of a couple of the new releases.
Following in the footsteps of the incredibly funny Scientifically Accurate Spider-Man video, the fine folks at ADHD have produced a video that takes a look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles if they were a tad bit more accurate scientifically. And it is just as dementedly funny as the Spider-Man video.
