Best Actress Snub: Julia Louis-Dreyfus

While Louis-Dreyfus did not deliver a bombastic, powerhouse performance as a middle-aged masseuse looking for love in the romantic comedy ENOUGH SAID, she did deliver a comfortable and delicate performance that immediately drew me in as a viewer to the point that I became emotionally invested in her attempt at making things work with her new beau (played by James Gandolfini in his last role) and cringed as she began to sabotage things out her own insecurities. It was a very bare bones performance that may not have the showiness of some of the ones that did get a nod but it was just as good, if not better in my opinion…and I am looking in your general direction with that comment, Ms Streep.
