Best Supporting Actor Snub: James Gandolfini

I was certain that Gandolfini would have gotten a posthumous nomination just because the Oscars is known for doing sentimental claptrap like that. I am bummed they didn’t give him a nomination because he was really good in ENOUGH SAID and deserved it regardless of what other reasons folks would have used to vote for him. His performance was so far opposite what the majority of the public know him from and he was able to take what was just an ordinary Joe and infuse him with so much charm and depth of character that you found yourself rooting for him to find happiness with his less than stable lady love. That ability to make you forget you were watching Tony Soprano is why an Oscar nomination would have been well deserved.
