Lani Tupu (Bialar Crais)

Bialar Crais was a Peacekeeper commander who became an instant enemy of John Crichton when Crichton’s exit from a wormhole inadvertently killed Crais’ younger brother. Enraged by his grief, Crais swore a blood vengeance against Crichton and anyone aligned with him. Over time Crais came to understand that Crichton killed his brother by accident and for a time became a part of Crichton’s group of on-the-run fugitives. Crais even became the “pilot” of the Talyn, the weaponized offspring of the Leviathan spaceship Moya.
How Things Ended: At the end of Season 3, Crais and Talyn sacrificed themselves to save Crichton and the rest of Moya’s crew from Scorpius.

What Is He Up To Now?

After FARSCAPE ended, Tupu continued to act in many TV shows and movies in his native Australia. Tupu is also a pretty good artist and his work can be seen HERE. He is also semi-active on is Facebook Fan Page where he tends to reply to most messages as well as posting updates on his life and career.
Fun Fact! Tupu also was the voice of Pilot on FARSCAPE for the entirety of the shows run.
