I remarked in the post about the trailer for DUMB & DUMBER TO that Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels were looking a bit too long in the tooth to be playing the goofball characters of Lloyd and Harry and I stand by that statement despite my being totally on board with the elder statesmen that make up the cast of the latest in the EXPENDABLES franchise.
Watching these old school action heroes kicking butt and taking names is just a hoot to me and it is made even more so by the additions of Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes and Harrison Ford. They may be old but they still do this retro-style of big dumb action better than anyone else.
