The Daily Nerdgasm: Remember Amalgam Comics?

Remember when Marvel Comics and DC Comics had their big MARVEL VS DC crossover event that led into the combined universe of AMALGAM COMICS? I enjoyed those books and it seems like a million years ago that the two comic companies had a good enough relationship that they would actually work together to put out such a massive joint effort.
Well, artist Eric Guzman remembers and at his DeviantArt page he has done some really cool amalgamations of DC/Marvel characters. Click onward to see some of the ones I liked best.

I Had No Idea That Tina Was A Dude In The Original Bob’s Burgers Pilot

The original pilot demo for the FOX series BOB’S BURGERS featured all of the same characters except for one…in this pilot the Belcher’s oldest child was a boy named Daniel instead of a girl named Tina. The characters were voiced by the same guy (the great Dan Mintz) but something just seemed off about that character being male plus the look of Daniel was just so pedestrian while Tina stands out. I am glad they made the change because Tina is definitely my favorite character on the show.
