The SUICIDE SQUAD movie is right around the corner (and I have already bought my tickets!) and even though I have already done a post giving a glimpse into just who the members of The Squad are, the release of an Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) centered trailer got me to thinking about just how great Davis is going to be in the movie. And that got me to thinking about just how great Amanda Waller is as a character.

After a flurry of activity over the past couple of days that saw an announcement of the BvS teaser showing this Monday at select IMAX theaters and then a leak that saw a blurry camera phone video of an international version of the trailer (which I posted here), director Zack Snyder has seen the light and dropped a beautiful HD version of the teaser and it is magnificent!

Today has been a day of teaser trailers out the whazoo (from the latest STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS clip to a snazzy teaser for Quentin Tarantino’s HATEFUL EIGHT) and in the case of BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE we got a teaser for a teaser it seems. I love mash-ups. Music mash-ups, movie mash-ups, food mash-ups, comic book mash-ups…you mash it up and I am 99% likely to love it to pieces. So it was a no-brainer that when cosplayer par excellence Detty Cosplay decided to put his talents to the task of creating a cosplay costume that mashed up two of my favorite comic book character, Batman and Capt. America, that I would be a fan.
