The biggest question that was running through my mind once Bane took over Gotham City and released all of the prisoners was…where is The Joker? This scene would have been a major crowd pleaser in my humble opinion. Continue reading The Daily Nerdgasm: The Most Sorely Missed Scene from The Dark Knight Rises

Sherman “George Jefferson” Hemsley passed away yesterday at 74 and it got me to thinking…this guy was a legit TV star. he starred in two iconic TV shows in ALL IN THE FAMILY and THE JEFFERSONS, he starred in a very successful (if underrated) sitcom in AMEN and he co-starred in one of the best cult TV shows ever DINOSAURS. This Week Pam’s hair looked like this:

Frightening isn’t it?

It’s been a year since she passed away and she is still missed; so here’s a couple of my favorite Amy Winehouse songs in memorium:
In My Bed

Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 86% (Critics) / 93% (Audience)
Directed By: Christopher Nolan
Written By: Christopher Nolan, Jonathan Nolan, and David S. Goyer
Starring: Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, and Tom Hardy.
Studio: Warner Bros. Pictures
Synopsis: It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.

Thomas Jane, star of the 2004 Punisher film, takes his love of the character to the streets and made this short film himself depicting the type of Punisher (a name that is never uttered in the vid to avoid Marvel’s pesky lawyers) he thinks would be the best onscreen.
