SO…MUCH…GAVIN
There was an inordinate amount of Gavin in this episode. And not just screen time for Gavin, I am talking long monologues for Gavin and attempts at character development for Gavin, just waaay too much Gavin. Of all of Negan’s lieutenants, Gavin is the worst solely because the guy they cast for the role looks like the manager of a Tru-Value hardware store in the Midwest and he has all the charisma of a used dish towel. So being subjected to scene after scene of this guy’s special brand of underwhelming acting when there are actual characters that people like who could have been given that screen time was infuriating.
