4. Jennifer Jolie in Scream 3

Scream 3 is the much criticized, redheaded step child of the Scream franchise and while some of the criticism are very warranted, the movie hold a spot in my heart for introducing the character of Jennifer Jolie and giving us the phenomenal performance from Parker Posey in the role. Jolie was the actress who played Gale Wathers in Stab 3 and that gave the film so many opportunities for hilarity by having Jolie shadow the real Gale in order to understand the character fully as well as trying to seduce Dewey as part of her method acting process.

The chemistry that Posey had with Cox and Arquette was a highlight of the film and the wackiness that Posey brought to Jolie made me instantly love the character. So you can just imagine how shattered I was when that loser Roman Bridger killed her. Sure the chase scene leading up to her death was comedy gold but that just made the way she got killed off even more painful to watch.
