Of all the Marvel Comics properties Disney could have put into production, The Guardians of the Galaxy had to have been the last one anybody thought would actually happen. As a fan of the GOTG I was admittedly a little geeked out and as dribs and drabs of pics and info get’s leaked my excitement is growing and growing.

Synopsis:Duncan’s (Ken Marino) life is a real pain in the ass. This photo-shoot by Jeff Zoet of Scooby and the Mystery Incorporated gang facing off against a gaggle of zombies is pretty cool. I do have an issue with Fred not sporting the neckerchief and between her massive boobs and high heels Daphne would have major issues outrunning a marauding zombie horde but oeverall this is quite snazzy.

According to a story floating around, 47-year old actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan had a meeting with MAN OF STEEL director Zack Snyder about the Superman vs Batman movie. If true this would lend some credence to the rumor that Snyder is looking to go with a more seasoned Batman who has been in the costume for a while and is more of the grizzled version of Batman from the DARK KNIGHT comics. Peter Capaldi (who is a bit of a vet of the Who universe having appeared in the DOCTOR WHO episode, The Fires of Pompeii as well as having a role in TORCHWOOD: CHILDREN OF EARTH) has been picked for the role and I couldn’t be happier. For one it gives us an older Doctor which I am all for because I was beginning to think that we would be stuck with Tiger Beat cover boys as The Doctor for the foreseeable future. So the BBC and the show’s producers basically have rained all of the fangirl and shipper factions of the Who fanbase with this pick.
