Game of Thrones Season 4 Scene of the Week: And The Emmy Goes To…Peter Dinklage!

tyriona
There are times when you are watching a TV show and you realize that an actor is doing something that is destined to be award worthy. I noticed it the first time Jessica Lange strolled onscreen in AMERICAN HORROR STORY’s first episode and proceeded to swallow Connie Britton whole. I noticed it the second Matthew McConoughey sat down to be interrogated on TRUE DETECTIVE. And I noticed it when Peter Dinklage’s Tyrion Lannister couldn’t take it anymore and lashed out at pretty much everyone during his farce of a trial on last night’s episode of GAME OF THRONES.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Scene of the Week: Hodor Smash!

hodor-smash
Don’t make Hodor angry. You wouldn’t like Hodor when he’s angry. Especially not if he is under the mental control of an angry crippled kid whose entire existence has been yanked away from him.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Scene of the Week: What The Heck Was That?

gotoath2
For the past 3 and some odd seasons of GAME OF THRONES there has been a subset of the George R.R. Martin books fandom who have taken to acting like smug asshats who wear their readership of the books ass a badge of honor that makes them better than the sad sacks who have only watched the TV show. They also love to go to anyplace that show watchers gather and drop spoilers all willy nilly…well, now those folks know how show watchers feel.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Scene of the Week: What Makes A Good King?

tytom01
For what was supposed to be a “catch your breath” episode after the glorious death of King Joffrey last week, Breaker of Chains providd some meaty moments. From Dany rolling into Mereen like she owned the place to Arya and The Hound rolling a poor single father for his cash to The Wildlings ransacking villages to Stannis’ Secret Small Council of Shireen & Davos coming up with an idea to get funding for their king to Littlefinger making his move. And I am not even going to touch that Jaime/Cersei scene with a ten foot pole. My favorite scene was the beginning of Tywin spending some quality time with his new favorite family member.

The Prime Suspects In The Righteous Regicide of Joffrey Baratheon

joffchoke
OK…enough time has passed and everyone with an Internet connection now knows that the evil boy-king Joffrey Baratheon was killed on this past Sunday’s episode of GAME OF THRONES. Now all attention turns to just whodunnit? Like any good murder mystery there are a ton of suspects so I have gone thorough the list to see who had cause to see Joff dead and the likelihood that they would actually do it. This is an adaptation so it’s quite possible Benioff & Weiss could throw us a curveball and change the identity of the culprit for the TV show which would be kinda cool.

Game of Thrones Season 4 Scene of the Week: Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert!

got-spoilers
To spare any stragglers being spoiled who have yet to see last night’s episode of GAME OF THRONES (and why the heck haven’t you watched it yet?) I will restrict all comments on my favorite scene of the second episode of this season, The Lion And The Rose, for after the jump.

Whatever Happened To…The Kids From Space Cases?

Does Anyone remember the 90s teen science fiction show SPACE CASES? I can’t be the only one who has fond memories of it can I? My memories are so fond that I found myself wondering whatever happened to the kids from the show. My online investigative work can be found after the jump.

This Animated Batman Short Is 3 Minutes Of Pure Perfection

Bruce Timm and Kevin Conroy reuniting to give us a look at an early version of Batman as he faces Hugo Strange and Solomon Grundy in atmospheric black-and-white? Amazing! If only it was a full length vid. Somebody at WB needs to put Timm in charge of the Cartoon Network because this is the type of programming they need to be producing. I Have The Perfect Re-Cast For The Daario Naharis Re-Cast On Game of Thrones

daario
OK, I admit it has only been one episode of GAME OF THRONES and probably only a combined 5-6 minutes of air time for the new guy playing Daario Naharis but even that small sample size was more than enough for me to decide that I don’t like this re-cast at all.
