Star Wars: Into Darkness (Fake) Trailer
It was inevitable once J.J. Abrams was announced as having been chosen to shepherd the further adventures of Disney’s newly acquired Star Wars franchise but that doesn’t diminish the coolness factor of what a fan envisions an Abram’s Star Wars trailer would possibly look like. Trailer of the Day: Knights of Badassdom

A geeky group of Live Action Role Players (LARP) must summon their inner heroes when one of them inadvertently summons a sexy succubus with diabolical intentions. Deeply depressed following his messy break-up with Beth (Margarita Levieva) forlorn metal-head Joe (Ryan Kwanten) is abducted by his fantasy-prone roommates (Peter Dinklage, and Steve Zahn) and inducted into the world of LARP – where imaginative gamers assume the roles of knights, wizards, and maidens. As foam swords are drawn and cardboard battle-axes clash, Joe finds himself starting to have a good time when one of his roommates – a would-be sorcerer – casts a spell that actually works. Now, a cruel succubus has crossed into our reality, and she’s claiming the lonely LARPers one-by-one. To make matters worse, she’s assumed the form of Beth, which makes her nearly irresistible to Joe. With the evil strengthening and the body count rising, Joe and his roommates realize that in order to stop the seductive demon, they must cast aside their fake weapons, and summon the courage to fight a force of pure evil. – Rotten Tomatoes
Cool Collabos: Daryl Hall & Rumer
Taken from Mr. Hall’s TV show, Live From Daryl’s House, comes a duet between the Hall & Oats singer and British songstress Rumer. The two vocalists put a very mellow, easy listening radio spin on the 1970s William DeVaughn classic “Be Thankful For What You Got“. Continue reading Cool Collabos: Daryl Hall & Rumer
No One Puts Joanna Cassidy In A Corner

Joanna Cassidy is a veteran actress who has starred in a bajillion movies and TV shows. One of her past acting credits was as the replicant assassin Zhora in sci-fi classic Blade Runner. Evidently her character was supposed to have a seductive dance with a snake that was cut from the film by director Ridley Scott and that has stuck in Ms Cassidy’s craw ever since. So what is an actress with access to an HD camera, a smoke machine, a baby python, some smooth R Kelly grooves and a high speed Internet connection to do except upload a video of her 67 year old self doing said cut scene and creating what has to be the contender for greatest online video of the year. While also making Blade Runner co-star Sean Young seem positively rational.

So This Is Where Oxygen Draws The Line of Bad Taste?

The (much anticipated by me at least) reality show “All My Babies Mamas“, which would have featured Atlanta based rapper Shawty Lo and his plethora of babies and their respective mamas, has been pre-emptively canceled by the Oxygen network due to outcries from pretty much everyone who bore witness to its’ (awesome) sizzle reel trailer. I am a bit perturbed for a few reasons…namely because this looked like the trainwreck of all trainwrecks and I was planning to enjoy every second of it and also because the Oxygen network’s biggest claim to fame is a little show called “The Bad Girls Club” which is quite possibly the most disgusting reality show to ever be televised.

Someone Has Not Been Eating His Wheaties
It may seem cruel but I cried with laughter watching him flail about helplessly as he called for his daddy to come save him. Rule #1 of lifting…never do it without a spotter. Continue reading Someone Has Not Been Eating His Wheaties
Dexter’s Laboratory Unaired Episode: Dexter’s Rude Removal
I love how once the rudeness was removed from Dexter and Dee Dee they become “veddy British” while their rude sides were talking like they were from “Joisey”. And I would give my left pinkie toe for the uncensored version of this video. (Source) Continue reading Dexter’s Laboratory Unaired Episode: Dexter’s Rude Removal

Short Shrift Theater: R’ha

This looks awesome…a four armed alien being (harshly) interrogated by an artificial intelligence; a a group of galactic defenders betrayed by the machines they built to aid in their mission; and lots of stuff blows up. Someone in Hollywood needs to throw a bucketload of money at this Kaleb Lechowski so he can make a full length film out of this concept. Check out the video after the jump.
