The staple of the teen-centric films of the 1980s was the role of the bullying douche. These guys always seemed to be good looking or rich or with the prettiest girl or popular or sometimes all of the above. And despite being blessed with so much they all were totally horrible human beings whose only goals in life were to make the already crappy existences of the social misfits in their circle suffer even more than they already were.
