Everything about this modernized retelling of MY FAIR LADY looks awful with the worst being that title. Who at ABC thought naming a show with a term that is already considered obnoxious and has a likely lifespan shorter than a mosquito was a good idea? Even if the show ends up being better than the trailer makes it look there is no way it will be able to overcome that terrible name. I am also curious why Karen Gillan and John Cho didn’t both run screaming from this script when it first came to them? I am admittedly not the biggest fan of Gillan’s Amy Pond on DOCTOR WHO but I recognize her talents a an actress and she could do better than this even though her American accent is a bit dodgy. I have this show at the top of my “First TO Be Cancelled” list.
