Reason #5 That It Rocks: The Kills

What I really liked about the kills in this movie is that they eschewed the previous films attempts to get creative with murder and just went for quick, brutal efficiency. Jason wasn’t pussyfooting around in this movie…he wanted to add to his body count and he was doing it like he was on the clock with a quota to fill before quitting time. My favorite of the bunch is pictured above in GIF form. Jason deciding not to use the huge machete in his hands at the time and instead bashed the girl in the sleeping bag to death against a tree was truly brutal.
