I Am So Happy That Godzilla Will Actually Look Like Godzilla In The New Godzilla Movie

After that disastrous of piece of crap that Roland Emmerich made where Godzilla was revealed to be a Teen Mom, I was a bit worried when I heard the news that Hollywood was going to make another attempt at bringing the big guy to US movie screens. But my worries in one area at least were unfounded because the Godzilla that Legendary Pictures is producing will look like Godzilla is supposed to look…which is how the character has looked for the past 60 years.

Vin Diesel (an admitted big comics fan) admitted a few weeks ago that Marvel requested a meeting with him but didn’t offer any more info as to just what that meeting was about. Of course minds began racing about which Marvel movie franchise would the star of THE FAST & THE FURIOUS films be involved in with everything from the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy to Black panther being tossed out there by speculative fans and reporters.

As part of the ongoing series of animated shorts produced for the Cartoon Network’s block of DC Nation cartoons, this exceedingly snazzy Wonder Woman clip from this past weekend proves in a scant 30 seconds that with the right idea and creators Wonder Woman can be just as cool as any of her male super-hero counterparts. And the right idea in this case is to go the Cleopatra Jones route with Wonder Woman driving an invisible muscle car and looking very stylish.

So imagine a world where The Punisher had the powers of Superman. If you envision the incidents of criminals dropping out of the sky to their deaths rising at an alarming rate thanks to The Punisher being able to fly then you have the gist of THE FLYING MAN, a short film about a vigilante with super-strength and flight powers preying on the criminal. element. The stuff with The Flying Man doing is thing is pretty riveting but the short film does drag a bit during the extended time that is spent with the two criminals on their way to do a job.
