Of all the Marvel Comics properties Disney could have put into production, The Guardians of the Galaxy had to have been the last one anybody thought would actually happen. Remember when Marvel Comics and DC Comics had their big MARVEL VS DC crossover event that led into the combined universe of AMALGAM COMICS? I enjoyed those books and it seems like a million years ago that the two comic companies had a good enough relationship that they would actually work together to put out such a massive joint effort.
